Responsible Gaming

You are reading a static information page, not an account or a gambling service. It sets out what this build can and cannot do, plus some practical thinking to use before you follow any link away from it.

Scope

Nothing on this page checks anyone's age, and no gambling takes place here. Any age check happens at the destination once you leave this site. This site has no account, no form and no server-side application behind it, so nothing published here can switch on a deposit cap, a loss cap, a reality check, a cooling-off period or self-exclusion, and nothing here can check or enforce one either. Controls of that kind live inside an account you open at an operator's own site, not on this page. There is no advertising or behavioural profiling network running on these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader based on past behaviour.

Links

Every page of this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: gambleaware.nsw.gov.au, gamblinghelponline.org.au and responsiblegambling.vic.gov.au. These are the only outbound links on the site that are not commercial. Unlike the operator links elsewhere on the build, they carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows one of them.

Operators

The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this build, including on the front page and at the end of every operator listing. Each of the ten operator listings closes with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice. Everything a reader can actually do with money happens after leaving this site — each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that point the destination's own rules, checks and account controls apply, not anything published here.

Before you start

  • Decide the amount before you begin, so the decision is made with a clear head rather than mid-session.
  • Treat that amount as already spent, which removes the pressure to "win it back".
  • Never chase a loss — the urge to recover money is exactly when decisions get worse, not better.
  • Keep gambling away from borrowed money, so a loss stays a loss and does not become a debt.
  • Take breaks; stepping away resets judgement that a long session wears down.
  • Involve someone else early, while it is still entertainment, because it is easier to talk about before it becomes a problem.
